Earthquake Risk Analysis Detection

Geophysical and geological studies are carried out in the areas examined within the scope of seismicity risk assessment studies, and the ground properties of the land are determined by the observations and surface geology studies made as a result of these studies.

As a result of the determining soil properties, the stability of the ground on which the building is built, its behaviour characteristics during an earthquake, its effects on the building foundation elements, and its compatibility with the building foundation elements are examined and evaluated in detail.

In addition to geophysical and geological studies, the structural systems of the building are examined. Samples are taken from the carrier system and the strength properties of the samples taken are determined by the tests. With the data obtained, the structure is modelled in 3D and strength analysis is performed by considering current and possible conditions.

These evaluations are made both by international criteria and within the scope of the earthquake regulation in force in our country.

In our seismic design studies, we examine the behaviour of structures in the case of earthquakes and evaluate these behaviours according to international structural analysis codes. To make an analysis, first of all, the structures are designed in 3D. After the 3D designs, the parameters of the building are transferred to the modelling. Afterwards, the structure is tested for possible seismic situations and its response and behaviour are observed. According to the result obtained, the situation is evaluated and project planning studies are initiated for the necessary precautions.
